Inspired by the scent of Japanese wild roses,Givenchy Eaudemoiselle de Givenchy Eau Florale EDT (S$100 for 50ml and S$140 for 100ml) is a fruity floral fragrance for modern women. Created in the likeness of the Demoiselle, it is the fragrance for a young woman in blossom. Delicate and carefree, everything about her is an ode to beauty – freshness and grace with a subtle rebellious femininity.
Top notes: Pear & Pink Grapefruit
Heart notes: Wild Rose & Jasmine
Base notes: Blonde Woods & Musk.
At first whiff, it vaguely reminded me of Lanvin Eclat D’arpege; so if you’re into fragrance along that line, you’re in for a treat. Compared to Lanvin Eclat D’arpege, Givenchy Eaudemoiselle de Givenchy Eau Florale EDT is muskier and stronger, but not overwhelming (thankfully). Do note that there’s not much drydown for this EDT, by mid-day it was well blended into my skin.. so all that’s left is just a warm, creamy skin scent. Bonus points for T=the vintage looking bottle that made my heart flutter, I could so imagine how good it will look on my vanity table.
Overall, I find Givenchy Eaudemoiselle de Givenchy Eau Florale simple and elegant – like a fresh bouquet of flowers, this is the perfect feminine EDT to spritz on all year round if you like sweet scents.
