Estee Lauder Pure Color Envy Sculpting Lipsticks

As previously mentioned in my Estee Lauder Pure Color Nail Lacquer post, I’d received 5 limited edition Pure Color Envy Nail Lacquers shades specifically designed to complement 5 arresting shades of Estee Lauder Pure Color Envy Sculpting Lipsticks as seen swatched above! Rich in attitude and saturated in color, the new Pure Color Envy Sculpting lipstick is a bold and provocaitve collection with 16 shades to choose from for the modern woman at SGD45 each: from the subtle whisper of insatiable nudes, to the drama of impassioned reds, daring mohoganies, powerful pinks and confident corals.. each to satisfy every woman’s desire! One also cannot simply ignore the strong sleek and elegant silhoutte reflecting Estee Lauder signature navy and gold (that I love so much), be impressed with the magnetic closure.. with one click, case closed. Ultrachic!

With high-intensity color that stays true for up to 6 hours, the above was the remains of my attempt to remove it with my holy grail makeup remover. I have used been switching around with my Estee Lauder Pure Color Envy Sculpting Lipsticks from holidays to weddings, these multi-faceted color pigments create shape, definition and volume that seems to last forever! I reckon the pigments leaves a visible stain on my lips, allowing the colour to last all day with minimal touchups. At the same time, it doesn’t dry out my lips unlike some other lipsticks I’d owned. The lightweight texture is creamy and smooth with long-lasting moisture; allowing my lips to survive even through the cold harsh winds in HKG without threatening to crack and peel.

Ambitious Pink

What I love most about the Estee Lauder Pure Color Envy Sculpting Lipsticks will definitely be the slightly matte finish it gives that doesn’t make my lips look too flat, a very luxurious and modern touch. Among the five, the ones that won my heart would be Envious (my first red lippie that actually looks good on me), Dominant (who could ever resist a hot fuchsia lippie that screams classic elegance) and Eccentric (for its sweet pink shade that looks perfect when I go all matchy matchy with its Pure Color Envy Nail Lacquer equivalent, hees!). The colours are super easy to pull off and if you’ve noticed on the above #MOTDs, the only difference was the lip colour and that’s all you need to make a difference. x

You look stunning as a blonde Alene. I think your skin tone suits this range of colours really well! I tend to stay away from bright pinks and reds because I look rather garish. I tend to suit darker, goth-y colours more. Btw I thought you were a Bntgirl this round too? Or have I missed your reviews? 🙁

Thanks dearie, I just went back to matte ash brown yesterday and you are making me miss my blonde colours already! I suppose I was really lucky that most of the shades these time round tend to steer towards the cooler tones, else I will never be able to pull it off too~ Warm lippies make me look really sallow! I reckon you have yet to find your perfect red yet, else you will definitely looked stunning in it! <3

Anyway yes, I am indeed a BNTgirl this time round, reviews are under the older posts.. just one page away~
