Recently, I realized that I have a mountain of backlogs dated in 2013 consisting of cafe huntings & personal events quietly sitting in my comp. So what better way than to start a #ThrowbackThursday theme and dedicate to these forgotten ones! So watch out for this space every Thursday if you’re into my more personal entries ♥
Penny university is near my house but I’ve never patron this hipster haven as I didn’t want to risk meeting some people who frequent there. But when the girls mentioned how lovely the egg benedict and hot chocolate were.. I knew I have to try it out. Even if it means bumping into the person I least wish to see 😡
Turkish Eggs with Smoked Salmon
I actually like this way more than I thought I would. Very unique and delicious.
Eggs Benedict with Smoked Salmon
A very sad looking sticky date pudding
I find it a great place for coffee and chillax, though not much for the food.. as usual, I feel that something is missing and not meeting up to my expectations. Perhaps my tastebuds were spoilt after indulging in the mouth-watering brunch menus in Melbourne that I just feel that most brunch places in Singapore are mediocre, overrated and overpriced – crude but true. In the meantime, I will still be on the hunt for my ideal brunch locations in the hopes of finally finding one that will put up a good fight with the cafes down under. ‘Til the next~
