Week 3 into our renovation and we are starting to see distinct progress! Previously it was all about the planning, choosing and hacking… but now that is finally over, everything seems to be speeding up! Exciting times ahead~
For starters, some of our lights are up after the rewiring is completed. Like this unique light/clock at the entrance that my brothers thought were some tap 🤣 I like how it adds a quirky feel to our home… did you manage to guess where we are heading towards? Perhaps scrolling through this post may give you a better idea~
Kitchen tiles are in too. We choose a rough surface grey so as to minimize slipping; it will also help blend in seamlessly to our living room’s theme I hope. Didn’t want too stark a contrast.
(Ask that fats to move away but since he wana photobomb, I’ll just click and upload 🙄)
All done! Love love love my common toilet’s tiles that’s full of quirky vibes. I allowed Valene (Idzigner) to “surprise” me for this particular toilet.. so far so good! Glad to know that she understands fully on our theme. Am also pleased to have listened to her and chosen white for our toilet wall tiles – our miniscule toilet is the only complain I have for my house, could have done so much more if it’s bigger :X
MBR toilet tiles are up too! This is so soothing to those with OCD since our peranakan wall tiles are a perfect fit. I’m so in love with my feature tiles even though they were double the price of the others, lol. Add such a unique touch and blends into the big picture; the little details that counts.
I’m trying not to reveal too much about my beauty room which will double up as my working space (in case of the infamous copycats) but here’s a sneak peek, all dusty yet still beautiful! This will truly be my favorite room in the house ❤ Thankful for a husband that understands the need for my own personal space 🙂
Finally, vinyls for my MBR and guest room! Husband wanted those concrete flooring for the rustic look, but I wasn’t in favor of that icky feeling. Luckily, there’s a vinyl alternative that looks just as good yet more bedroom friendly, so why not right?
Our storeroom is back in shape~ The previous owner knocked that wall/door down and replaced it with a roller blind -..- For what reason, I’ll never know, but it certainly left us astounded when we saw the mess. Definitely a big no for us~
P.S Please don’t ask me about the nitty gritty details about my flooring, like the name or code, I was just in charge of choosing and pointing it for my ID (Idzigner) to order :p
