The Laneige Ambassador

I’ll let you in on a little secret – I have always wanted to be a brand ambassador for skincare!

I am never much into fashion, I don’t follow seasons nor fashion trends, I have absolutely zero idea what’s in and what’s out… as long as I look good in my selected clothing choices without looking like a fashion victim, that’s all that matters to me. But when it comes to beauty, especially skincare, it’s a whole different story. I can go on and on recommending things that are suitable for your skin, what’s good what’s horrid… lucky you if you have the same skin type as me (oily outside, dry inside with occasional outbreaks) cuz I have been experimenting them ever since my first major breakout when I was 17. Although I must admit that when it comes to makeup I am only good at creating the natural look to enhance one’s features. Since young, mom have always been nagging and constantly reminding me that less is more, I look better without any makeup at all etc.. so it was kinda instilled into my stubborn old brain that makeup should only be used to enhance my features and not drastically alter my looks.

So winning the Laneige brand ambassador title was definitely a dream come true for me. Their products suit my skin by hydrating it.. when your skin is well hydrated, it gets less oily. And even when it comes to their makeup range, it is all about creating the dewy natural look like we see on the Korean superstars. I can’t believe how lucky I am to be able to represent a brand that I can strongly relate to and be so comfortable with.

Being a Laneige Brand Ambassador not only means that I get to be pampered with the newest range of products, I get invited to events as their beauty model too! Which is also another secret wish of mine, teehee. I tend to wear white or blue to represent the Laneige brand and get dolled up by Laneige trainers Tina and Cat with the latest k-beauty looks. Along the way, I have absorbed and picked up heaps of new skincare and beauty tips which has helped improve my routine tremendously!

Below are some Laneige events I have attended this year…
