Review: I have been trying to avoid foundations and loose powder for as long as I could but I finally jumped on the bandwagon when I realized how it may not clogged pores as bad as I thought it would be; which was why I bought mineral loose powder instead of the usual foundation. When I first tried Laura Mercier’s mineral powder on my face in Adelaide, I was sold! My otherwise dull yellow skin actually look glowly [not oily!] and really healthy! I was since a total convert and would use this almost everyday. However, when I landed back in Singapore, this product no longer worked on my skin. As Singapore’s climate is much more humid as compared to Oz’s dry climate. By lunchtime, my otherwise porcelain complexion starts to streak and I look like a complete mess. Such a disappointment to realize that this product is not at all suitable in humid weather where my skin tend to produce much more oil than usual. If you have dry to normal skin, I would definitely recommend it! Or else.. just steer away from it as you will only ended up with streaky complexion 🙁
Final Verdict: 50/50. I will be more likely to purchase it when my skin starts to age and be less oily, but definitely not in the near future.
