Bak kut teh

A mini potluck lunch w my lil girlies at my apartment to satisfy our cravings back home. This is my second time cooking it and with a slight change of ingredients from the previous try, it definitely made a world of a difference to it’s taste. I did it the easy way by dumping everything into my almighty rice cooker and leaving it overnight in the stove before heating up just so it will taste even better 🙂

Ingredients:
1 pack of pre-packed Bak Kut Teh herbs
1 lb of pork ribs
2 garlic bulbs
6 dried Shitake mushrooms
A handful of tofu puffs

Seasoning:
2 tablespoons of soy sauce
1 teaspoon of dark soy sauce
1 tablespoon of oyster sauce
A few dashes of white pepper powder
Salt to taste

Condiment:
4-5 bird’s eyes chilies
1 tablespoon soy sauce
1 tablespoon Indonesian ABC sweet soy sauce
